Black Buffalo Real Estate began with a shared passion for radical care and a vision for a different kind of brokerage. After more than twenty years of decorated active-duty military service, Adam transitioned to civilian life by shadowing a local broker, quickly discovering a deep calling for guiding families through major life transitions. Janelle soon followed, bringing her own formidable background in residential construction and over two decades of experience navigating complex government contracts and legal compliance. Together, after both earning consecutive "Rookie of the Year" honors at their previous firms, they realized they had built a uniquely powerful dynamic—a partnership balancing unwavering, people-first service with airtight professional execution.

Our journey brought us to Oklahoma in 2021, a place we quickly fell in love with and now proudly call home. In March 2026, we officially opened the doors to Black Buffalo Real Estate to fill a critical gap we saw in the local market. We wanted to build a wholesome, niche brokerage that doesn't just focus on closing transactions, but deeply invests in human relationships. Having navigated the daunting shift from a lifetime of military service to business ownership ourselves, we also designed Black Buffalo to be a sanctuary and mentorship hub for talented new agents, ensuring they have the hands-on guidance and support they need to truly care for their clients from day one.
